Breezaire WKL Series Cooling Units are compact, self-contained wine cellar cooling systems built for through-the-wall installation. The WKL 8000 is designed to maintain wine-safe temperature and humidity conditions in larger residential cellars when the room is properly insulated, sealed, and prepared for cooling.
The unit vents heat into an adjacent room and is designed for straightforward installation without plumbing, complicated wiring, or on-site refrigerant charging. Before installation, confirm that the exhaust room is the same size or larger than the wine cellar and that the cellar has proper insulation and sealing.
Installation Fit Note: The WKL 8000 should only be installed in a properly insulated wine cellar. A poorly sealed cellar can cause cooling loss, short cycling, excess run time, and unstable wine storage conditions.

Optional Breezaire Bottle Probe
The Breezaire Bottle Probe can be used with all Breezaire models. It allows the cooling unit to control operation based on the liquid temperature inside a wine bottle rather than only the cellar air temperature.
To use the bottle probe, allow the wine cellar enclosure to stabilize at the desired temperature for approximately 72 hours. Fill a normal-size wine bottle with water, insert the bottle probe, and place it in the cellar. Do not connect the probe until the bottle has had enough time to cool to the enclosure temperature.
Once connected to the outlet on the face of the unit, the system’s on/off operation is controlled by the liquid temperature inside the bottle. Unplugging the bottle probe returns the system to the internal air sensor. The bottle probe cord is 5 feet long.

Dealing with Wine Coolers Empire was a very satisfying purchase. Our previous unit, that we had for 5 years, froze up on us so we had to get a new unit as quickly as possible. I gave the lady the scenario and she said she would do what she could to put a rush on it but couldn't promise anything. She said that the units were built on a per order basis and it would take 4 to 6 weeks to process, build and ship. Therefore we went out and bought a self-standing A/C unit to at least keep the room around 72 degrees while waiting. Well she must have asked for the rush because it was in our wine cellar and plugged up within 3 weeks. Thank you guys for all your help!!
