SC PRO Series - WhisperKOOL Wine Cellar Cooling Systems are easy-to-install wine cellar cooling units (self-contained) that do not require a professional HVAC-R technician for installation.
The SC PRO series offers additional features that can be added on, such as a UV-C Lighting System which helps eliminate mold and bacterial growth in the cooling system, a Condenser Ducting Kit that allows for the safe and efficient venting of the unit, and an Exterior Grille to protect the exhaust side of the system. DIGITAL CONTROLLER The digital thermostat found on the front of the device comes with a feature called Advanced System Protection which includes alarms to notify you if certain conditions are not met.
BOTTLE PROBE WhisperKOOL wine cooling units accurately measure the temperature of wine in the cellar through the use of WhisperKOOL bottle probe or liquid temperature measuring probe. This method of measuring the temperature of a liquid is more precise and provides a more accurate reflection of the temperature of the wines stored in the cellar compared to measuring the temperature of the air in the cellar.
CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER The new SC PRO WhisperKOOL Cooling Units feature a revised fan system that provides powerful and direct airflow. This new fan design allows for even quieter operation and is meant to efficiently distribute conditioned air throughout the wine room.
CONDENSATE EVAPORATOR A new advanced condensate management system has been added to this WhisperKOOL Wine Cooling System, which can efficiently evaporate up to 3 ounces of condensate per hour of operation. This management system makes the drain line a secondary precautionary measure rather than a necessity.
POWER SUPPLY The unit can be powered from either the front or the rear, depending on your preference. The cooling unit can be plugged into a standard electrical outlet for power.

This unit replaced the previous WhisperKool model that I had owned for ten years or more. It is significantly quieter than the previous one which is a major benefit. It has only been installed for about a week but appears to be operating well. It fit in the same cutout the previous cooler had occupied. I hired a handyman to hook it up and the entire job was done in 2 hours

Quiet, Easy to Operate & Efficient
The unit is much quieter than my old unit (Vintage Keeper Tuscany 900). The bottle temperature probe allows the cooling unit to run longer but not as often. The unit also uses about 20% less energy than my last unit.

Had to replace an ancient discontinued Whisperkool unit. Sent pictures to Mary and she was able to identify it and offer a replacement suggestion. Got a bit of a discount, unit arrived within the week. When I went to install the unit the old ducting kit no longer works with the newer, more efficient model (of course), so now I need to pick up the ducting kit... I've reached out to them and they responded that they'll be getting back to me today.
