The WhisperKOOL Extreme 5000 tiR Self-Contained Wine Cellar Cooling System (w/ Remote) is an advanced and powerful cooling system that features variable-speed fans for optimal wine cellar conditions. This high-capacity unit is designed for powerful operation, efficiency, and high reliability, so your wine collection will always be stored at the perfect temperature, even in the most extreme outdoor conditions.
The WhisperKOOL Extreme tiR is designed to be installed through a standard wall, with minimal modifications to the existing wall structure. This makes the “through-the-wall” installation process simple and easy. Additionally, this WhisperKOOL wine cooling unit can be mounted through an exterior wall and can operate under extreme conditions and temperatures up to 110°F.
The cooling unit can be located up to 25 ducted feet from the cellar for flexible placement and easy installation. The evaporator and condenser duct plenums can be purchased separately. The remote digital display with a 50ft cable provides easy access to temperature settings and precise control of the cooling system. The controller can also be mounted outside the wine cellar so you can check and adjust the temperature without entering the cellar.
The system offers standard and 24V thermostat options for more personalized temperature control. The 55°F temperature differential ensures that your wine is stored at the ideal temperature, while the quiet operation technology delivers sound levels as low as 51 dB, reducing noise levels in your wine cellar.
What's the difference between WhisperKOOL Extreme ti and tiR?
The WhisperKOOL Extreme tiR Series operates similarly to the WhisperKOOL Extreme ti Series and both are designed for through-the-wall installation. The main difference between the two is the location of the controller and display. On the Extreme ti, the controller and display are located on the front face of the unit, so to check and adjust the temperature, you need to go inside the wine cellar. The Extreme tiR is an “upgrade” to the Extreme ti as it comes equipped with the KDT Plus remote controller and thermostat.

DIGITAL CONTROLLER You'll find the WhisperKOOL thermostat in front of the unit. It has Advanced System Protection which alerts to notify you if specific parameters aren't met. You can place the thermostat up to 25 feet away from the unit with WhisperKOOL Extreme tiR systems.
BOTTLE PROBE The WhisperKOOL bottle probe measures the wine's temperature in the cellar with accuracy. As opposed to measuring the ambient cellar air, the liquid temperature measuring probe provides a more precise and accurate reflection of the temperature of the wines stored in the cellar.
3-SPEED FAN SWITCH You can simply adjust the fan speeds with just a flip of the 3-speed fan switch feature that is built in front of the unit.
EXTERIOR GRILLE Mounting through an exterior wall? The WhisperKOOL exterior grille protects the exhaust side of the system from the outdoor elements when installed through an exterior wall.

The WhisperKOOL Extreme Exterior Grille protects the system's exhaust side from outdoor elements and extreme temperatures. This WhisperKOOL Exterior Grille is specifically designed for WhisperKOOL Extreme Series - Through-the-Wall Wine Cooling Systems.
WhisperKOOL Ducting Plenum for Extreme Series
This Ducting Plenum allows ducting on either side of the WhisperKOOL Extreme ti & tiR self-contained through-the-wall wine cooling systems.
The evaporator and condenser sides can both be ducted through this plenum, giving you more installation options and flexibility.
The Condenser Coil Coating is a protective coating applied to a WhisperKOOL wine cellar cooling system's condenser coil to protect it from salt air. This coating helps to extend the lifespan of the cooling unit, especially in areas near the coast or beach where salt air can be a problem.
