Cabinet Wine Cooling for Enclosures up to 265 Cubic Feet
This model is designed for cabinet applications up to 265 cubic feet and uses a bottom cold-air discharge configuration that supports compact cabinet installations. Unlike standard refrigeration equipment, Breezaire cooling systems are made to help maintain the controlled temperature and humidity conditions required for proper wine storage.
The WKCE 2200 is designed to cool approximately 25°F below the ambient temperature on the venting side of the unit. Proper cabinet construction, insulation, ventilation, and airflow clearance are essential for reliable performance.

Product Overview
The Breezaire WKCE 2200 is built for cabinet-style wine storage where compact size, controlled airflow, and stable cooling performance are important. Because this unit discharges cold air from the bottom, it is especially suited for cabinets and other constrained enclosures where a conventional cellar cooling system may be oversized or impractical.
By design, Breezaire wine cooling systems help create a stable environment for products that are sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity. This makes the WKCE 2200 appropriate for wine storage applications, but not for general refrigeration or food storage.
Performance depends heavily on installation conditions. Improper placement, restricted airflow, insufficient cabinet insulation, or high ambient temperatures can reduce cooling effectiveness. Before installation, verify that the enclosure is properly sealed, the venting side has adequate airflow, and the electrical supply matches the unit requirements.
Humidity Guidance
Wine cabinet cooling units help maintain a stable humidity level that is generally lower than the surrounding ambient humidity. In areas with high ambient humidity, the WKCE 2200 can help lower humidity toward suitable wine storage conditions.
In very dry environments, the desired enclosure humidity may not be achieved without adding moisture. If additional moisture is needed, use slow natural evaporation from a small porous water container.
Do not use a humidifier inside the wine cabinet.
Key Features & Benefits
Adjustable Temperature Control
The adjustable thermostat allows the cabinet temperature to be set within the ideal wine storage range of 50°F to 60°F.
Automatic Humidity Control
The gentle cooling action helps maintain relative humidity in the 50% to 75% range under suitable cabinet and ambient conditions. Additional moisture may be required in extremely dry climates.
Vibration Control
Breezaire cooling systems are engineered with dampening mounts throughout the system to help control vibration and protect wine during storage.
Ultra-Quiet Operation
The WKCE 2200 is designed to operate quietly and unobtrusively, supporting the refined atmosphere expected in premium wine storage spaces.
Attractive Metal Cabinet
The metal cabinet is designed to blend with the surrounding wine storage area and can be flush mounted to a wall or cabinet opening when properly installed.
Ease of Installation
No plumbing, complicated wiring, or on-site refrigerant installation is required. The unit is factory charged and ready for installation when mounted correctly and connected to a 115V AC power source.
Comprehensive Warranty Coverage
The WKCE 2200 includes warranty coverage with 1 year labor and 5 years parts.

Accurate temperature set point adjustment
Continuous cabinet temperature display
Power outage protection
Blocked airflow protection that can shut down the unit in high-temperature conditions caused by condenser blockage or fan failure
Temperature control by enclosure air sensors or optional bottle probe
Factory-charged operation when mounted and connected to a 115V AC power source
Intelligent temperature and fan speed monitoring
Control System Video
Warning: UNPLUG the unit before changing Sentry III.
Optional Bottle Probe
The Breezaire Bottle Probe can be used on all models. It is used when you want the cooling system to control temperature based on the liquid inside the bottle rather than only the air temperature inside the wine cabinet.
When the bottle probe is plugged into the unit, it replaces the internal air sensor. The temperature displayed is the temperature of the liquid in the bottle. Unplugging the bottle probe returns the unit to the internal air sensor and cabinet air temperature reading.
Allow the enclosure to stabilize at the desired temperature for approximately 72 hours. Use a normal-size wine bottle, clean it, fill it with water, insert the bottle probe into the bottle, and place it inside the enclosure. Do not connect the bottle probe to the unit until the bottle has cooled to the enclosure temperature. Once connected, the on and off operation of the unit is controlled by the liquid temperature in the bottle. The bottle probe cord is 5 feet long.
The Breezaire WKCE 2200 is best suited for larger custom wine cabinet applications where a compact cabinet cooling system is required instead of a full wine cellar cooling unit. It is a strong choice when replacing a WKC 2200 or OEM 2200, or when the wine cabinet requires cooling support for an enclosure up to 265 cubic feet.
Do not use the WKCE 2200 for walk-in wine rooms, standard refrigeration, or unsealed cabinet spaces. For best results, confirm cabinet dimensions, insulation quality, electrical requirements, and rear exhaust ventilation before installation.

WKCE 2200 is a very solid unit
I purchased the WKCE 2200 as a replacement suit for the WKCE 1060 for my cooler (See Picture). The unit keeps the weir at the perfectly set temperature. The only reason I didn't;t give it a 5 is the noise, it is louder tat the 1060 I had. Love the unit, hoping it will out last the my last one.

Works like a charm!
Bought this to replace a same-sized older model cooling an under-stairs wine closet. Easy to install, working well. Digital temp readout is a great improvement over older model. Only wish it were quieter, but all I have heard are noisy. Delivered promptly with free shipping as advertised.

Great unit
This is my second unit, and so far it has proven to be far superior to the former model. It maintains the same compact, easy to use design, but it is much quieter!
