📚 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
No ductwork is required because the evaporator and condenser are installed separately. Do not choose this system if you need a fully hidden installation—visible wall-mounted components are required.
Do not use a ductless split system if you want zero visible equipment inside the cellar. It will not meet design requirements for fully concealed or luxury showpiece installations.
The condenser must be installed in a well-ventilated indoor or outdoor location with proper clearance. It will overheat and fail if placed in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.
Do not install this system in an unsealed or poorly insulated cellar. It will fail to maintain temperature and run continuously, leading to premature wear.
Ductless split systems require visible evaporator units inside the cellar, while fully ducted systems hide all equipment remotely. Choose ductless only if visibility is acceptable and ducting is not feasible.
The system must match your cellar’s cubic footage, insulation, and heat load. An undersized unit will not reach target temperature and will run continuously.
