📚 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Allavino coolers are suitable for short- to mid-term storage but are not a substitute for a dedicated wine cellar. Do not use them for long-term aging if precise humidity control is required.
Only install Allavino units as built-in if the model is front-vented and rated for undercounter use. Installing a freestanding unit in cabinetry will cause overheating and failure.
Allavino coolers use compressor-based cooling and will produce audible noise during operation. Do not install in noise-sensitive areas like bedrooms or ultra-quiet spaces.
Stated capacity is based on standard Bordeaux bottles and will decrease with larger or irregular shapes. Do not expect full capacity if storing Champagne, Pinot, or oversized bottles.
Do not install Allavino units in garages or areas with extreme temperatures. Performance will fail if the ambient environment falls outside recommended operating ranges.
Choose a wine cellar system if you are building a sealed room or storing large collections long-term. Allavino coolers are designed for appliance-style storage, not full-room climate control.
