📚 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
You must choose accessories based on your system type and installation. Missing required components like duct kits or condensate pumps will cause airflow issues or water damage.
Do not assume compatibility across all WhisperKOOL units. Controllers, probes, and duct kits are model-specific and using the wrong accessory will result in improper operation or system errors.
You need a condensate pump if the system cannot drain by gravity. Without proper drainage, water will back up and damage the unit or surrounding structure.
Use a bottle probe if you need accurate wine temperature control. Air sensors react faster but will not reflect the actual liquid temperature inside the bottles.
Only upgrade to a smart thermostat if your system supports 24V controls. Installing an incompatible thermostat will prevent the system from operating correctly.
Install an inline fan when duct runs exceed recommended lengths. Without additional airflow support, the system will lose cooling efficiency and fail to maintain temperature.
